Hi, I’m Nathalia.
I’m a responsive front-end web developer and lifelong writer. Creating is what I do for purpose. Whether I’m perfecting a website, writing my heart out, or overhauling someone’s LinkedIn profile, I take pride in my unique contributions to the world and the web.
But, the truth is, as a conflicted millennial coming of age in the era of personal branding, I hate telling you who I am in two paragraphs. I’m also a mixed-race kid, a Stanford alum, a national-level Olympic weightlifter, a wrestling state champion, a solo traveler, an ex-nutrition nut, a Christian, and more.
“We are all so much more.”
Inside of us, we carry around a world of labels, identities, achievements, failures, passions, and potentials. There’s no one thing we’re made to do or made to be. Our lives are not limited to one path, and we can’t be boiled down to one elevator pitch.
That’s why I make it my mission to show you who I really am. I hope that by following my journey, you feel the boldness and freedom to live out who you really are. However many versions of you that may take.
Check out my blog to learn who I really am, and the impact I hope to make in your life today.
I currently reside in the Orlando, Florida area, my hometown. My journey into tech started in Operations at a Silicon Valley startup, a couple years after graduating from Stanford University. As I began editing and writing for the company’s customer knowledge base, I fell in love with creating clear and helpful content. I was hooked and wanted to expand on my copywriting skills by creating websites.
Enter Skillcrush, this amazing tech education platform geared towards women. It’s thanks to this pioneering company that I grew empowered to create without the permission of others. Through their online courses, I learned web development skills and best practices, and was introduced to the power of freelancing. And, I learned it all while traveling the U.S. and Europe!
Now, I’m deep into the tech scene. And I’m busy networking my butt off in Orlando: making friends, learning from others, and partnering with new clients.
Between front-end web development and professional writing, I’ve found the freedom, challenge, and versatility that I crave in my work. When I work, it consumes my mind and my heart. There’s no space to think about checking Facebook 🙂 That’s the kind of work I want to be a part of.
I’m also a joy to work with! Check out my resume and see why.
